The LEPT (still widely called the LET) is on Sunday, September 20, 2026, about two weeks away. Room assignments and the official program are posted.
Report to your school or building assignment not later than 5:30 a.m. Late examinees will not be admitted.
The official program
Everyone starts with general instructions and forms, 7:00 to 7:45 a.m.
Elementary only: General Education 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. (40%), Professional Education 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (60%).
Secondary, and Elementary with a specialization: General Education 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. (20%), Professional Education 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (40%), Specialization 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. (40%).
General Education gets two hours and a fifth of your grade. Professional Education and your major are worth 40% each. The 75% rule has the arithmetic.
Pacing
The gaps at 10:00 to 11:00 and 2:00 to 3:00 are your only chances to eat, drink, and reset. Inside each part: at half the time, be at half the booklet. If nothing comes within 30 seconds, mark the item and move on. Wrong answers carry no penalty, so with 15 minutes left, fill every remaining bubble. Check your bubble number against your item number at the end of every page.
